As part of ourexpansion strategy, CMR is establishing a new Aluminium Ingots andLiquid Aluminium manufacturing plant at Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu , with atotal installed capacity of 36, 000 MTPA , to be developed in phases.

Qualification
Essential: MBA /Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management (2-year full-time)from a recognized institution
Preferred: Certification in SAPHR / SuccessFactors / Darwin box or similar HRMS
Degree/Diplomain Training & Development
Experience
Essential :37 years ofCore HR experience in a reputed manufacturing organization
Desired: Exposure to plant HRoperations including shopfloor workforce management
Experiencein HR systems implementation and process standardization
Experiencesupporting plant setup or expansion projects (preferred)
Deployment Plan
Theselected candidate will initially support HR activities during the ProjectPhase , including manpower planning, recruitment for plant setup, HR systemsdeployment, policy implementation, and onboarding of workforce.
Post-commissioning, the role will transition into full Plant HR Operations , managingend-to-end Core HR functions and supporting organizational growth at the unitlevel.
Job Responsibilities
Phase 1 During Project Phase
Supportmanpower planning and budgeting aligned with project timelines
Driverecruitment for project and plant setup roles across functions
Assistin developing organization structure and job descriptions
Supportonboarding and induction of new hires
ImplementHR policies, processes, and HRMS at the recent plant
Coordinatetraining programs for newly hired employees and supervisors
Supportcultural integration and employee engagement during plant establishment
Phase 2: During Plant Operations
Manpower Planning & Budgeting
Developmanpower plans aligned with business requirements
Manageworkforce productivity and redundancy handling
Prepareand monitor manpower budgets (salary, training, admin, etc.)
Trackadherence to approved budgets
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manageend-to-end recruitment for plant positions
Trackrecruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire
Coordinatewith stakeholders for manpower requirements
OrganizationStructure & Job Descriptions
Developand update job descriptions for plant roles
Maintainorganization structure and role clarity in systems
Talent Management
Implementorganizational talent management programs
SupportIndividual Development Plans (IDPs) for talent pool employees
Trackprogress of leadership development initiatives
Training & Development
Coordinateinduction and training programs
Identifytraining needs through competency gap analysis
Facilitateskill development for blue-collar workforce
Coordinatewith internal and external trainers
HR Policies & Compliance
Ensureimplementation of HR policies and procedures at plant level
Promoteorganizational culture and values framework
Maintaincompliance with company standards
Performance Management System
DrivePMS processes including goal setting, mid-year review, and annual appraisal
Coordinatewith department heads for timely completion
Employee Engagement & Relations
Planand execute engagement initiatives (Town Halls, Skip-Level Meetings, FamilyDay, etc.)
Implementreward and recognition programs, especially for shopfloor employees
Facilitatecommunication between management and workforce
Employee Surveys & Organizational Health
Implementemployee satisfaction surveys and engagement assessments
Driveaction plans based on survey feedback
HR Operations & Administration
