Project Manager Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation

Qualification: BE Electrical, BE IC

Experience: 12-15 Years
Industry Preference: Solar Glass, Float Glass, Steel, Cement, Power Plant, Petrochemical, Process Industry, EPC Projects

Role Objective

Lead complete electrical, instrumentation and automation activities from concept engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, startup, plant handover, operation support, shutdown planning, fault-finding, team development and system reliability improvement for a Solar Glass Manufacturing Plant.

1. Power Distribution & Substation Systems

- Electrical load calculation and power planning
- SLD (Single Line Diagram) preparation and review
- Switchyard / Grid connectivity coordination
- GIS / AIS substation systems
- Power transformers and distribution transformers
- HT & LT power distribution systems
- MCC, PCC and VFD panels
- Panel rooms and distribution rooms
- Bus duct systems

2. Electrical Infrastructure

- Cable sizing and route planning
- HT & LT cable installation
- Cable tray and trench design
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Industrial and outdoor lighting systems
- Electrical utility network development
- DG synchronization systems

3. Backup Power Systems

- DG Set selection and installation
- UPS system selection and sizing
- Battery banks and charger systems
- Critical load management
- Emergency power systems

4. Automation & Control Systems

- PLC systems
- DCS systems
- SCADA systems
- HMI development and commissioning
- Network architecture review
- Control room setup
- Field instrumentation integration
- Process interlocks and safety systems

5. Instrumentation Systems

- Instrument selection and specification
- Flow, pressure, temperature and level instruments
- Control valves and actuators
- Gas analyzers and utility instrumentation
