Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation & Cost Analysis Engineer with 45 years of relevant experience in the Faade / Curtain Wall / ACP Cladding / Aluminium / Glass / Construction industry.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, vendor comparisons, techno-commercial proposals and project cost analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of faade materials, construction costing and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for faade packages.
- Perform quantity take-offs for Curtain Wall, Unitized Faade, Glazing, ACP Cladding and Aluminium works.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
- Prepare rate analysis, project costing sheets and detailed estimation reports.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Projects and Sales/Commercial teams during bid preparation.
- Identify project-related cost risks, commercial risks and cost optimization opportunities.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations and tender/bid submissions.
- Maintain and regularly update material, labour and subcontractor cost databases.
- Conduct cost variance analysis between estimated and actual project costs.




- Support management during client negotiations and value engineering discussions.
- Analyze project profitability, costing and margins.
- Prepare budgeting reports, MIS and management presentations.
- Assist in finalizing subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate, competitive and commercially viable bids.

Required Skills & Software

- Advanced MS Excel – Mandatory
- AutoCAD – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis and costing
- Good understanding of faade materials and construction processes
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Industry Experience – Mandatory

Candidates should have relevant experience in one or more of the following:

- Curtain Wall
- Unitized Faade
- Structural Glazing
- ACP Cladding
- Aluminium Windows & Doors
- Glass & Glazing
- Faade Engineering / Faade Construction
- Architectural Metal
- Construction Materials Procurement

Candidate Profile

- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Estimation / Costing / Quantity Surveying / Commercial roles.
- Experience in Faade, Aluminium, Glass, ACP or Architectural Construction is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of material costing, labour costing, vendor pricing and project profitability.
- Ability to independently handle estimation and tendering activities.
- Good communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and deliver accurate estimates within the required timelines.
