About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a next-generation Telecom CRM platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing highly scalable, high-throughput, cloud-native microservices capable of handling large transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the overall architecture for a large-scale Telecom CRM platform.
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and horizontally scalable microservices.
- Build systems capable of handling high TPS (Transactions Per Second) and high-volume workloads with low latency.
- Design event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.
- Establish API standards aligned with TM Forum Open APIs.
- Define database architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization strategies using MySQL.
- Drive cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies on Kubernetes.
- Define security, observability, logging, monitoring, and resiliency standards.
- Review solution designs and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to define integration patterns for React-based Micro Frontends.
- Lead architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and technology evaluations.
- Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, and security requirements.

Required Technical Skills

Backend

- Expert in Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
- REST API design and API-first development
- TM Forum Open APIs (TMF Open APIs)
- Experience building distributed systems

Messaging & Integration

- Apache Kafka




- Event-Driven Architecture
- Asynchronous messaging patterns
- Event Sourcing and CQRS (preferred)

Database

- MySQL performance tuning
- Database design and normalization
- Indexing, partitioning, replication, and high availability

Cloud & DevOps

- Kubernetes
- Docker
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native application architecture

Frontend

- Understanding of React
- Experience with Micro Frontend architecture
- API integration patterns

Architecture

- High TPS and high-throughput system design
- Distributed systems architecture
- Scalability and performance optimization
- Caching strategies
- Resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead)
- Load balancing
- API Gateway patterns
- Service discovery
- Distributed tracing and observability

Preferred Qualifications

- 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in an Architecture role.
- Telecom/BSS/OSS domain experience.
- Experience implementing TM Forum Open APIs.
- Experience running Kubernetes in production environments.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and IAM solutions such as Keycloak.
- Experience with performance testing and capacity planning.
