Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and develop machining subcontractors based on capability, capacity, quality, cost, and delivery performance
2. Float RFQs and obtain quotations from machining vendors for components as per drawings and specifications
3. Study engineering drawings, GD&T;, material specifications, machining processes, and inspection requirements
4. Coordinate with vendors for CNC/VMC/HMC/turning, grinding, milling, drilling, fabrication-machining, and other machining activities.
5. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely production and delivery of components.
6. Monitor subcontractor production progress and resolve technical/process-related issues

7. Coordinate with Quality for inspection of first-off samples, in-process inspection, and final inspection

8. Ensure subcontracted parts meet drawing specifications, dimensional tolerances, surface finish, and quality requirements

9.



Visit subcontractor facilities for process audits, production follow-up, and technical discussions

10. Maintain vendor performance records covering quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.

11. Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Design, and Planning teams for smooth execution of subcontract machining activities

12. Maintain proper documentation of drawings, inspection reports, rejection reports, and vendor development activities

13.Develop alternate vendors to ensure continuity of supply and reduce dependency on single suppliers

1. Ready to visit Vendor place(PAN India)
2. Vendor /subcontractor management
3. Positive technical knowledge
4. Fluency in English & Hindi (Speaking + Writing)
