QA Automation Team Lead - Job Description
Position: QA Automation Team Lead
Experience: 5 + (with 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role)
Location : Chennai ( Maduravoyal)
Shift Timing : 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Looking for a candidate who can join immediately, within a week
The person who tool accountability for their work.

Primary skillset : Automation testing , Manual testing ,( Python or pytest or Robot Framework), API testing , Selenium , AI Automation , Updated skill sets .

Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving automation strategy and best practices
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python + Selenium
Own API testing strategy (functional, regression, integration) using tools like Postman/RestAssured/PyTest
Drive manual testing efforts for exploratory, UAT, and edge-case scenarios




Integrate AI-driven automation (self-healing scripts, AI-based test generation, smart test prioritization, visual/ML-based validation)
Collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps teams to embed QA early in the SDLC
Set up and maintain CI/CD test pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI)
Define QA metrics, KPIs, and reporting for stakeholders
Conduct code/test reviews and ensure test coverage quality standards
