1. Analyze and assess on-prem storage environments (NAS, SAN, file shares, NFS volumes) in collaboration with infrastructure teams
2. Validate and document existing shared volumes, storage configurations, and dependencies
3. Design and implement Azure storage solutions (Azure NetApp Files, Azure Files, Managed Disks) aligned with migration strategy
4. Plan and execute data migration activities for large-scale datasets using appropriate tools (AzCopy, Robocopy, Azure Migrate, R-Sync, Xcp tool etc.)
5. Configure storage in Azure including:
a) NetApp (ANF / CVO) setup
b) Azure File Shares (SMB/NFS)
c) Volume provisioning and performance checking
6. Perform volume mapping and integration with migrated Windows and Linux VMs
7. Ensure data integrity, performance, and security compliance during migration
8. Troubleshoot storage-related issues across hybrid environments
9. Collaborate with application, OS, and DB teams (SQL, Oracle) during cutover and validation
10. Document architecture, configurations, and migration procedures
