Role & responsibilities

- Generate new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, digital leads and market visits.
- Identify potential customers and develop a strong sales pipeline.
- Understand customer requirements and present suitable products/services.
- Conduct client meetings, product/service presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and close sales effectively.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Follow up regularly with leads, quotations and pending opportunities.
- Generate repeat business, referrals and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in CRM/software.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and maintain sales MIS.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Accounts and Customer Support for smooth order/service delivery.




- Ensure timely follow-up for payments and outstanding amounts where required.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, target achievement and market feedback to management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Good client relationship management skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
- 25 years of relevant sales/business development experience.
- Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales targets will be preferred.
