About the Role

We are looking for a CA Qualified Finance Qualified for a General Ledger (GL) / Record-to-Report (R2R) role with a reputed pharmaceutical organization in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in GL accounting, R2R processes, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & R2R

- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure proper accounting and classification of transactions.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
- Review accruals, provisions, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capitalization.

Financial Reporting

- Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.




- Analyze financial data and identify variances.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits with required documents and explanations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
- Support ERP implementation/upgrades and process enhancements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Accounting, GL and R2R processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP.
- Strong knowledge of month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.

Preferred Profile

- CA Qualified with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates from Pharma / Manufacturing / Corporate Finance environments preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with maximum 30 days' notice period are preferred.
