Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ISO Tank Depot Operations professional to manage and coordinate day-to-day ISO Tank depot activities across the USA and Canada.

The role will involve coordinating with ISO Tank depots, customers, consignees, and internal teams to ensure timely tank availability, release, cleaning, MNR (Maintenance & Repair), inspections, testing, documentation, and movement.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring pending depot activities, following up on tank-related repairs and requirements, reviewing depot charges, managing claims, and ensuring smooth ISO Tank operations while minimizing operational delays.

Key Responsibilities

ISO Tank Depot Coordination

- Coordinate with ISO Tank depots across the USA and Canada for tank availability, release status, positioning, and operational requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with depots to monitor the status of all assigned ISO Tanks.
- Follow up with depots to ensure timely completion of all pending tank-related activities.
- Coordinate with depots, customers, consignees, and internal teams to ensure smooth ISO Tank release and movement.
- Monitor depot turnaround timelines and proactively identify potential operational delays.

ISO Tank Cleaning, MNR & Technical Activities

- Follow up with depots for pending ISO Tank cleaning, MNR (Maintenance & Repair), CC/PT, pressure testing, inspection, repair, and other tank-related activities.
- Coordinate with depots for special cleaning, kosher cleaning, and other customer-specific ISO Tank cleaning requirements.
- Follow up for repair estimates and obtain necessary approvals from concerned teams/customers.
- Monitor the progress of ISO Tank repair and maintenance activities until completion.
- Ensure that required inspection, testing, certification,



and supporting documentation is received from the depot.
- Follow up on tanks pending release due to cleaning, repair, MNR, testing, or other technical requirements.

Documentation & Depot Reports

- Follow up with depots for pending reports, photographs, estimates, invoices, inspection reports, repair details, and other supporting documents.
- Review depot documentation for completeness and coordinate with relevant teams for any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate ISO Tank-wise and depot-wise records of ongoing and completed activities.
- Regularly update operational trackers and status reports for management and internal stakeholders.

Depot Charges & Cost Coordination

- Review and coordinate depot-related charges associated with ISO Tank cleaning, storage, MNR, LOLO, repairs, inspections, testing, and other applicable activities.
- Coordinate with depots and internal teams to validate and resolve discrepancies in depot charges.
- Follow up for estimates and approvals related to ISO Tank repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor exceptional or additional depot costs and escalate them to the concerned team for approval/resolution.

Damage, Heel & ISO Tank Claims

- Follow up on ISO Tank damage, heel, repair, cleaning, and other tank-related claims with consignees, depots, customers, and concerned parties.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain supporting documents, photographs, estimates, and other evidence required for claim resolution.
- Monitor open claims and ensure timely follow-up until closure.
- Escalate unresolved or high-value claims to the concerned management/team.

Import & Export Coordination

- Coordinate with the Import and Export teams for ISO Tank movement, release, positioning, availability, and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely communication regarding tank status and availability to support import/export planning.
- Coordinate with internal teams to avoid delays in tank movement and customer operations.
- Provide timely updates on tank availability, depot status, pending activities, and expected release dates.

Reporting & Escalation

- Maintain and update depot-wise ISO Tank operational trackers and status reports.
- Prepare regular reports on pending cleaning, MNR, repair, testing, release, claims, and other depot activities.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks, and operational risks and proactively follow up for resolution.
- Escalate urgent ISO Tank depot issues, delayed activities, cost concerns,



claims, and other critical matters to the concerned teams and management.
- Ensure timely closure of pending activities and maintain proper follow-up records.

Stakeholder Management

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with ISO Tank depots, customers, consignees, internal operations teams, Import/Export teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and timely communication regarding ISO Tank requirements and operational status.
- Handle multiple depots and tank-related activities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
- Support the team in ensuring smooth day-to-day ISO Tank operations across the USA and Canada.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Experience in ISO Tank operations, tank container operations, depot operations, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation.
- Good understanding of ISO Tank cleaning, MNR (Maintenance & Repair), CC/PT, pressure testing, inspection, repair, LOLO, storage, and depot processes.
- Strong knowledge of ISO Tank movement and release processes will be preferred.
- Robust follow-up and coordination skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with USA/Canada-based depots, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and escalation management skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and operational tracking/reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned ISO Tank operations.
- Customer-focused approach with strong commitment to timelines and service quality.
- Willingness to work in EST time zone / US business hours.

Experience

Candidates with experience specifically in ISO Tank / Tank Container Operations, Tank Depots, Shipping Lines, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Transportation Operations will be preferred.
