Role: Malayalam Success Coach

Working Days: 6 days/week

Preferred Background: EdTech student mentoring / student success / academic counselling
Language: Malayalam mandatory; English is a plus

We are hiring a Malayalam Success Coach for the Academy Student Success team.

The role involves driving student engagement, mentoring follow-ups, inactive learner activation, student/parent connects, and regional student success ownership for the Kannada-speaking student base.

The ideal candidate should have prior EdTech mentoring or student success experience, strong Kannada communication, good follow-up discipline, and the ability to build trust with students and parents while identifying concerns and escalating them on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive student engagement and mentoring follow-ups for Malayalam-speaking students.
- Conduct student and parent calls to understand learning progress, concerns, and support requirements.
- Identify inactive, demotivated, or low-engagement learners and take timely follow-up actions.
- Guide students on learning plans, course progress, session participation, and next steps.




- Capture student concerns clearly and escalate unresolved cases to the right internal teams.
- Maintain tracker, CRM, call remarks, dispositions, and next-action hygiene.
- Support regional student connects, group sessions, and engagement initiatives where required.
- Maintain professional communication without false commitments on placements, support, refunds, or policy outcomes.

Must Have:

- 6 months to 1 year EdTech mentoring, student success, or academic counselling experience.
- Solid Kannada communication.
- Comfortable with student and parent calls.
- Strong student follow-up discipline.
- Ability to identify student concerns and escalate where needed.
- Basic tracker/CRM hygiene.
- Alignment with Hyderabad WFO and 6-day working.

Good to Have:

- Experience conducting group sessions or student connects.
- Parent counselling experience.
- Basic understanding of tech/coding learning programs.
- English communication for internal coordination.
- CRM/dialer/Google Sheets exposure.

Role Type: Individual Contributor
Compensation: up to 4.8 LPA
