Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching tasks to ensure seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
- Optimize query performance by analyzing queries using tools like Profiler and Expert Analysis.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues related to data consistency, security, and compliance.
Job Requirements :
- 3-7 years of experience in designing and implementing high-availability SQL Server databases.
- Solid knowledge of T-SQL programming language and its applications in database administration.
- Experience with database upgrade/migration processes from one version of SQL Server to another (e.g., 2014 to 2019).
- Proficiency in optimizing query performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and clustering.
