Role & responsibilities

- Recruit, onboard, and activate insurance agents / advisors as per manpower plans.
- Train and motivate agents on products, sales process, and regulatory guidelines to improve productivity.
- Drive current business, cross-sell, and renewals to meet monthly and annual targets for the agency channel.
- Monitor agent performance through regular reviews, joint field calls, and MIS tracking; implement action plans for underperformers.
- Ensure high levels of customer service, including assistance in policy issuance, documentation, and claims support.
- Maintain compliance with IRDAI regulations and company policies in all sales and recruitment activities.
- Gather market feedback, track competitor activities, and suggest local initiatives to increase market share.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in insurance / financial services sales; prior agency channel experience preferred.
- Strong skills in recruitment, people management, and field sales.
- Good communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills; target- and result-oriented mindset.
