About the Role

Texas International Academy (TIA) is looking for target-oriented Abroad Education Counsellor Tele-Sales to join our Admissions team. The role involves connecting with prospective students and parents, understanding their academic and career aspirations, explaining TIA's programs and overseas education pathways, and converting qualified leads into admissions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and convincing skills, be comfortable with high-volume calling, and have a strong B2C sales mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from assigned leads.
- Understand the student's academic background, interests, career goals, and overseas education aspirations.
- Explain TIA's programs, academic offerings, overseas university pathways, scholarships, and admission opportunities.
- Counsel students and parents over the phone and address their queries effectively.
- Follow up consistently with leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.
- Handle objections related to fees, course structure, overseas opportunities, competition, and decision-making.
- Convert qualified leads into counselling appointments and ultimately into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, lead status, and conversions in the CRM.
- Achieve defined daily/weekly/monthly calling and admission conversion targets.
- Work closely with the Admissions Counselling and Academic teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Re-engage inactive, cold, and previously contacted leads to generate conversions.
- Provide regular updates on lead status, conversion pipeline,



and follow-up requirements to the reporting manager.
- Stay updated on TIA's programs, overseas university requirements, scholarships, and relevant admission processes.

- Strong follow-up discipline and relationship-building ability.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and maintaining lead data.
- Good English communication skills; additional regional languages will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 14 years of experience in tele-sales, inside sales, education sales, admissions, or overseas education counselling.
- Candidates from EdTech, Study Abroad, Education, B2C Sales, or Admissions backgrounds are preferred.
- Candidates with proven experience in calling-based sales and meeting conversion targets will be given preference.

- Lead follow-up and engagement
- Counselling appointments generated
- Lead-to-appointment conversion
- Appointment-to-admission conversion
- Monthly admission/revenue targets
- Follow-up effectiveness and CRM discipline
