About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented skilled to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation development and a keen interest in creating innovative skin care and hair care products. This role requires an individual who enjoys laboratory work, experimentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development from concept to commercialization.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of skin care and hair care formulations from concept to commercialization, including laboratory trials, pilot batches, and production support.
- Formulate products as per project briefs while ensuring product stability, performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, formulation trials, stability studies, compatibility testing, and product evaluations.
- Support technology transfer and scale-up activities for manufacturing at third-party manufacturers and in-house facilities.
- Maintain formulation records, laboratory notebooks, product specifications, technical reports, and other development documentation.
- Evaluate new raw materials, ingredients, and technologies to support product innovation and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development process.
- Assist in troubleshooting formulation and manufacturing-related issues using scientific and technical principles.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cosmetic regulations, and laboratory safety guidelines.




- Support validation studies, product performance testing, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, ingredient technologies, and innovations in the personal care industry.
- Work closely with ingredient suppliers and third-party manufacturing partners to support formulation development activities.
- Participate in cost optimization initiatives by evaluating alternative ingredients and improving formulation efficiency.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage multiple development projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetology, Cosmetic Science, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, or a related scientific discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Research & Development within the personal care, cosmetics, or FMCG industry, preferably in skin care and/or hair care formulations.
- Hands-on experience in formulation development, laboratory testing, stability studies, and product evaluation.
- Basic understanding of emulsions, surfactant-based systems, conditioning agents, humectants, preservatives, and cosmetic raw materials.
- Knowledge of cosmetic regulations, GMP, laboratory safety practices, and manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to technology transfer, scale-up activities, and third-party manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Passion for scientific research, formulation innovation, and developing high-quality consumer-centric personal care products.
