Job Purpose

To lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations at the plant, ensuring timely movement of raw materials, finished goods and other materials while maintaining cost efficiency, safety and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day plant logistics and dispatch operations .
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation .
- Ensure timely availability and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales and Transporters for smooth operations.
- Monitor vehicle planning, loading, unloading and dispatch schedules.
- Manage transporter performance, freight costs and logistics service levels.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatches, including e-way bills, invoices, delivery challans and transport documents .
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers/warehouses.
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as OTIF, freight cost, vehicle turnaround time and dispatch efficiency .
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction,



process improvement and route optimization .
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and EHS/safety standards .
- Handle logistics-related issues, delays and escalations effectively.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular MIS/reports.

Experience

510 years of relevant experience in plant logistics, manufacturing logistics, dispatch or supply chain operations , preferably from a manufacturing environment.
