Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise the installation and execution of Gondola Racks, Slotted Angle Racks, Peg Boards, Wall Shelving, and Display Racks.
- Read and understand layout drawings, shop drawings, and measurements.
- Coordinate with the site team, carpenters, fabricators, electricians, and other technicians for smooth execution.
- Ensure racks and display systems are installed as per approved drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
- Check the quality, alignment, level, finishing, and stability of all racks and display units.
- Take site measurements and coordinate with the production/fabrication team.
- Monitor manpower and ensure work is completed within the given timeline.
- Handle installation and rectification of display fixtures at retail stores, showrooms, supermarkets, and commercial spaces.
- Coordinate with clients/site representatives and resolve site-related issues.
- Prepare daily work updates and report progress to the Project Manager/Management.




- Ensure proper handling and installation of materials without damage. Follow site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the work area.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of retail racks and display systems.
- Experience in Gondola, Slotted Angle Rack, Peg Board, Wall Shelving, and Display Rack installation.
- Positive knowledge of measurements and basic drawings.
- Ability to manage workers and subcontractors.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to travel to different project sites when required.
- Knowledge of basic tools and installation methods.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in retail shop fitting, supermarket interiors, showroom displays, rack installation, retail fixtures, or commercial interiors will be preferred.
