Job Summary

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer to lead the design, configuration, development, and integration of our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. This role requires a unique blend of deep Salesforce administration expertise, hands-on software development skills, and enterprise integration experience. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical owner of the Salesforce platform, partnering with business collaborators and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, automate business processes, and integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems. This individual must be comfortable working across the full technology stack, including Salesforce configuration, Apex development, APIs, Python-based integrations, data management, and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

- Salesforce Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary technical lead for Salesforce Sales Cloud. Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, security settings, permission sets, reports, and dashboards. Lead platform governance, release management, and standards. Ensure scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of the Salesforce environment.
- Application Development: Develop custom Salesforce solutions using: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) SOQL/SOSL Visualforce (as needed) Design and implement complex business logic and automation. Optimize Salesforce performance and fix technical issues.
- Enterprise Integrations: Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms. Develop and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations. Build and support integrations with platforms such as: Workfront AEM Databricks ERP systems Marketing platforms Data warehouses Custom applications. Evaluate and implement integration patterns including APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and ETL processes.
- Python Automation Development:



Develop Python applications and services that interact with Salesforce and external systems. Build data synchronization, transformation, and automation processes. Create reusable integration frameworks and utilities. Support automation initiatives across sales, marketing, and operational systems.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity and governance standards. Design and support large-scale data migration efforts. Develop data quality monitoring and remediation processes. Support master data management initiatives.
- Architecture Solution Design: Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Recommend platform improvements and modernization opportunities. Participate in multi-functional architecture discussions. Develop user documentation and solution designs.
- Collaboration Leadership: Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Product, and IT teams. Mentor junior Salesforce administrators and developers. Establish development standards and guidelines. Lead technical design and code review sessions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Salesforce Expertise: 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Experience: 5+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience.
- Advanced Salesforce Administration Experience: Advanced Salesforce administration experience.
- Experience Designing Complex Salesforce Solutions: Experience designing complex Salesforce solutions.
- Good Understanding of Security Model and Related Concepts: Good understanding of: Security model; Sharing rules; Profiles and Permission Sets; Flows; Data modeling; Reports and dashboards.
- Development Experience: Solid Apex development experience.



Lightning Web Components (LWC). Experience with Salesforce APIs. Strong SQL skills. Git source control experience.
- Integration Experience: Extensive REST API experience. Experience developing integrations between Salesforce and external applications. Knowledge of integration patterns and architecture. Experience working with middleware and cloud platforms.
- Programming Skills: Strong Python development experience. Experience building automated integrations and data workflows.
- Familiarity with Data Formats and Protocols: Familiarity with: JSON; XML; OAuth; Web Services; Data transformation frameworks.
- Cloud Enterprise Technologies: Experience with one or more: Azure; AWS; Databricks; Workfront; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); Marketing Automation Platforms; Enterprise Data Warehouses.
