Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Cybersecurity Operations, Threat Detection Engineering, or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Platform Expertise: 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience administering, engineering, or architecting CrowdStrike Falcon Identity Protection (formerly Falcon Horizon/Preempt).
- Identity Protocols: Mastery of core authentication protocols and directories, including Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, SAML, and OIDC.
- Scripting & Automation: Robust proficiency in Python or PowerShell for building custom automated notifications and pulling platform API data.
- Security Frameworks: Deep familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK; framework, specifically tactics related to Credential Access, Lateral Movement, and Privilege Escalation.

Preferred Certifications

- CrowdStrike Certifications: CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) or completed specialized coursework like CrowdStrike University IDP 270.
- Industry Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC certifications (GCIH/GCIA).
