Job Description

Tech Mahindra – TIM (Lotus) is hiring Desktop Support Engineers – L1 with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in desktop/laptop support and IT troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for providing L1 technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1 desktop and end-user technical support.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, OS, application, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Handle basic Windows OS-related troubleshooting.
- Perform system configuration, software installation, and updates.
- Troubleshoot basic connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network issues.
- Log and resolve user incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.




- Provide good customer/user support and ensure timely issue resolution.

Required Skills

- 6 months to 1 year of relevant Desktop Support / IT Support experience.
- Basic knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT support/helpdesk experience will be an added advantage.

Compensation

CTC: 19,800
Approx. In-Hand: 14,500

Interview Process

Interview Mode: Face-to-Face ONLY
Interview Timing: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

F2F interview is mandatory. Candidates who are unable to attend the face-to-face interview should not apply.
