Python SDET - Senior Engineer Job Description

Experience: 6-8 Years

Location: Noida, Gurugram, Pune

Mandatory Skills:

- Programming Language (Python), API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation Development, Basic Build, Deployment CI/CD Knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), JIRA, Selenium, MS SQL

Additional Skills:

- ETL Concepts

Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable Python-based automation frameworks supporting UI, API, microservices, and integration testing.
- Define automation strategies, select appropriate tools, and establish best practices to maximize coverage, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling shift-left testing and continuous delivery practices.
- Analyze system architecture and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure applications are built with testability, scalability, and performance in mind.
- Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and frameworks ensuring adherence to standards, performance optimization, and maintainability.




- Mentor and guide team members in Python automation frameworks, design patterns, and advanced testing techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and product teams to align quality engineering initiatives with business and technical goals.
