- Conduct daily workplace/site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, and company procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Monitor use of PPE and protected working practices.
- Prepare and maintain risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting operations, confined-space work, and electrical activities.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and training documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, and response procedures.
- Liaise with contractors, workers, supervisors, and management on safety matters.
- Stop unsafe work when there is an immediate risk to personnel or property.
- Prepare regular HSE reports and provide safety performance updates to management.
