Roles and Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive library strategies to promote literacy and knowledge among students.
- Manage and maintain the library's collection, including acquiring new materials and removing outdated ones.
- Supervise and train library staff to ensure excellent customer service and effective operations.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop curriculum-integrated learning materials.
- Foster partnerships with community organizations to promote the library's resources and services.
- Analyze and evaluate library performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements

- Proven experience as a Chief Librarian or similar leadership role in a library setting.
- Strong knowledge of library management principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and community partners.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills to assess library performance metrics.
- Experience with budget planning and management of library resources.
