Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and support enterprise network security operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in firewall management, VPN technologies, intrusion prevention systems, network security monitoring, incident response, and security policy implementation. The candidate will be responsible for securing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructure across enterprise environments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Proxy solutions.
- Monitor network security events and analyze logs to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure secure architecture.
- Configure and maintain network access controls, NAC solutions, and network segmentation policies.
- Investigate security incidents and participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
- Implement security best practices aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.




- Support SIEM platforms and assist in threat monitoring and threat-hunting activities.
- Create and maintain security documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and incident reports.
- Participate in change management, audit activities, and security reviews.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 4-6 years of experience in Network Security and Security Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or Juniper Firewalls.
- Robust knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VPN, NAT, DNS, and Network Protocols.
- Experience with IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxy Security, NAC, and Network Segmentation.
- Exposure to SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, incident handling, and threat detection.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
- Exposure to Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSA/CCSE, NSE, or CEH are preferred.

- BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA / MSc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines)
