- LSDYNA, ANSA/HM/Primer for pre and Hyperview/Metapost for post, ATD positioning, restraints modeling and simulation, sled and full vehicle occupant simulation
Domain Knowledge:
- Regulatory and Public domain requirements for all loadcases, NCAP scoring points, positive understanding of structure interaction with restraints for occupant protection, restraint system function and tuning.
Job Description:
- Perform full vehicle and subsystem crash worthiness and occupant safety simulations
- Build, integrate and debug subsystem models like restraints, seats, dummies, interiors and airbags
- setup ATD models , evaluate injury metrics and propose design changes
- correlate sled and full vehicle crash tests
- work closely with design, attribute and supplier teams for design iterations, optimizations
- document reports, present results and recommendation to customer.
