Strategic Project Lead – Software Engineering

Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as the Strategic Project Lead for Software Engineering, a pivotal role designed to steer complex technical initiatives from conception to successful delivery. This position demands a visionary leader capable of bridging the gap between high-level business objectives and technical execution within the IT Services sector. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure rigorous quality standards, and foster a culture of excellence while managing large-scale software development lifecycles. Responsibilities

- Architect and oversee the end-to-end execution of strategic software engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and establish robust quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of software integrity and performance.

- Leverage Python and SQL to analyze data, optimize workflows, and drive performance analytics for continuous improvement.

- Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) workflows into existing engineering processes to enhance automation and decision-making capabilities.

- Manage program and project lifecycles, coordinating resources, mitigating risks, and delivering solutions on schedule and within budget.





- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineering teams, fostering skill development and promoting best practices in software architecture.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize deliverables, and communicate progress effectively across the organization.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in software engineering and project leadership roles within the IT Services industry.

- Demonstrated expertise in programming languages, specifically Python and SQL, with a strong foundation in database management and data analysis.

- Proven track record in performing technical code reviews and implementing comprehensive quality assurance strategies.

- Proficiency in utilizing performance analytics tools to monitor system health and optimize application efficiency.

- Hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI/ML workflows within enterprise software environments.

- Strong background in program and project management methodologies, with the ability to lead multi-faceted initiatives.

- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements
• 10+ years overall experience with 8+ years relevant experience. • Solid technical understanding and program delivery expertise. • Minimum 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, with 4+ hours PST overlap. • Immediate availability and a Linked In profile URL in the resume are mandatory.
