Skywise uses modern, cutting edge technologies to leverage the hidden value of data and to support aviation actors in taking data-driven decisions and optimizing their daily operations. Skywise does so by ingesting over 150,000 data sources daily and organizing them into an universal data model that we call the Skywise Ontology. On top of the Ontology, Skywise provides its customers with access to a vast array of powerful tools that allows them to drill down, explore data, build interactive dashboards and front-ends, perform advanced data analysis using Machine Learning, build predictive models, carry out simulation scenarios across complex models mimicking real-world industrial situations and so much more.As a Skywise Foundry Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions for Airbus on Skywise (based on Palantir Foundry) by understanding the business requirements. You will suggest/define best practices and golden rules that ensure the quality of the applications delivered by the team. You will capture learnings and share knowledge in the team.Qualification & Experience:Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Overall Experience: 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science or software application developmentSkywise Expertise: At least 2 years of hands-on experience on Palantir FoundryExperience in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders transnationallyPast experience in Aviation/manufacturing domain is preferredTechnical Skills:Strong proficiency in Pyspark, Python, SQL, Javascript, TypescriptStrong hands-on working experience on Palantir Foundry tools like Code repository, Pipeline builder, Access management, Ontology, Object explorer, Workshop, Templates, Marketplace, Quiver, Slate etcPrior working experience on Aircraft sensor data and time series data processing in Skywise preferredAbility to implement optimizations at scale on Pyspark or Java-based decoding pipelines in Foundry Code Repositories to translate raw, compressed, or binary formats into clean,
