Requirements:

Education :MCA/ Btech /BE

Experience: 05-10 years

Location: Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Delhi , Pune

Job Description

MS SQL :

1.Installation of SQL Server on cluster environment

2.Complete knowledge of Backup and recovery

3.Should have knowledge of Database Security policies

4.Should have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on)

5.Performance monitoring and tuning

6.Should have valuable knowledge of issues and trouble shooting.

7.Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.

8.Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

9.Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

10. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

11. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

12. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

13. Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory





14. Excellent written and verbal communication

15. Ability to organize and plan work independently

16. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

17. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

PostgreSQL :

1. Good knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture

2. Knowledge on PostgreSQL Streaming replication and Master slave and troubleshooting

3. Must have knowledge of setting PostgreSQL clustering , tuning, troubleshooting

4. Must have good knowledge of Performance tuning of PostgreSQL databases.

5. Must have good knowledge of PostgreSQL database up-gradation

6. Installation and configuration of PostgreSQL on linux

7. Understanding PostgreSQL Backup & Recovery.

8. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

9. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

10. Excellent written and verbal communication.

13. Working Knowledge in PgBadger, pgPool and RepMgr
