Hi! Smarā Therapy is a growing mental health therapy practice providing psychological support to children, adolescents and adults in India and the UK.

We are looking for a Psychology Administrative Intern to work closely with us on the practice's creative, administrative, and developmental work.

- Paid internship, part-time, hybrid (open to remote)
- 1-month probation period
- 5,000/month for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
- At least 3 months in duration, open to discussion!

What You'll Do:

Psychology & Content

- Create and develop psychology (specifically, therapy) content for Instagram and Facebook
- Come up with creative ideas for posts, reels and psychoeducational resources for clients
- Research psychology and mental-health topics and turn them into accessible content
- Help keep the Smarā website updated with recent and relevant content (feel free to check it out- www.smaratherapy.com)

Administration

- Monitor and organise practice emails (e.g., client enquiries)
- Manage sending out/ chasing up invoices and contracts when required
- Help with scheduling, records and other practice administration
- Organise digital files and resources

Professional Development

- Accompany us to relevant psychology/mental-health events where appropriate
- Gain insight into running an independent therapy practice
- Receive career guidance and mentorship throughout the internship

Who We're Looking For:

This role would suit a psychology student or recent psychology graduate who is:





- Genuinely interested in psychology and mental health
- Creative and confident with social media
- Comfortable creating content independently rather than simply following instructions. Content includes images/ creatives, videos, interviews, infographics and articles
- A strong writer and communicator
- Familiar with Canva and/or other content creation tools
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Responsible when handling confidential information (we follow GDPR in our work, so this is essential)

If you are not comfortable with social media and content creation (not just social media, but articles/other written work), this role might not be a good fit for you.

What You'll Gain:
