Role DescriptionPROJECT MANAGER – CNC PRODUCTION

Experience: 12–18+ years

Location: Mahabalipuram

Role Purpose

Lead the planning, establishment and operation of the CNC stone production facility, ensuring that raw granite blocks are converted into accurately finished architectural, structural and sculptural components in line with the monument erection programme.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead CNC facility planning, procurement, installation and commissioning.

● Develop machine configuration and production capacity requirements.

● Coordinate multi-wire saws, bridge cutters and CNC machines.





● Establish production workflows from raw block to finished component.

● Coordinate CNC production with BIM and stone detailing.

● Develop machine-wise production schedules.

● Establish tooling, consumable and maintenance requirements.

● Coordinate block numbering and digital traceability.

● Ensure CNC output matches erection priorities.

● Monitor production, rejection, rework and machine utilisation.

● Coordinate QA/QC inspection of CNC products.

● Manage CNC production team, operators and technicians.

● Coordinate stockyard and dispatch.

● Develop recovery plans when production falls behind schedule.

Qualification

B.E./M Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or related discipline.

KPIs

● CNC facility commissioned on schedule.

● Production capacity achieved.

● Dimensional accuracy and quality.

● Machine utilisation.

● Production against monthly targets.

● Minimum rejection/rework.

● Timely supply to erection fronts.

Senior CNC/stone-production skilled capable of managing a large-scale automated stone manufacturing operation integrated with BIM, quarrying and monument erection.
