Role Description The QC Manager for Metal Components Industries at NOZIX METAL is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar. This role oversees all quality control activities for brass and other metal components, including inspection of incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification against specifications and standards. The QC Manager develops and implements QC procedures, sets inspection plans, manages measuring instruments and calibration, and maintains documentation such as test reports and quality records. Daily responsibilities include supervising QC inspectors, addressing non-conformities, coordinating with production to resolve quality issues, and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions. The role also involves working with management and customers on quality requirements, preparing for audits,



and driving continuous improvement in processes and product quality.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of metal components manufacturing, particularly brass machining and brass manufacturing processes.
- Experience in quality control management, including inspection methods, sampling plans, and use of measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications, with familiarity in basic engineering and production workflows.
- Proficiency in preparing and maintaining QC documentation, such as inspection reports, quality records, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, basic Lean practices).
- Solid leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, supervise, and mentor QC staff on the shop floor.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, maintenance, and management, as well as handling customer quality concerns.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to make decisions under time and production constraints.
- Relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field; prior experience in brass or metal components industries is highly preferred.
