Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Engineer with solid expertise in Application Security (AppSec), Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Healthcare Compliance, Security Assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying security risks, strengthening application and cloud security, ensuring regulatory compliance, and validating security controls before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Application Security (AppSec): Conduct application security reviews, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies. Implement secure coding practices and integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle.

- Cloud Security: Assess and implement security controls across cloud environments, including infrastructure, workloads, network security, encryption, and cloud configurations.

- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manage identity and access controls, authentication, authorization, least-privilege access, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management.

- Healthcare Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable healthcare security and privacy standards, such as HIPAA, and support compliance audits and risk assessments.

- Security Assessments: Perform security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security control evaluations. Track findings and coordinate remediation with relevant teams.

- Production Readiness Reviews: Conduct security reviews before production releases, validate security requirements, assess operational risks, and ensure appropriate security controls and monitoring are in place.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and compliance teams to address security gaps.





- Prepare security assessment reports, document risks, and communicate recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience
- Around 10 years of experience in information security, application security, cloud security, or security engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in Application Security (AppSec).

- Strong knowledge of Cloud Security principles and security controls.

- Practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM).

- Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance, preferably HIPAA and related security and privacy requirements.

- Experience conducting Security Assessments, vulnerability reviews, and risk analysis.
