What Youll Be Doing (position summary): As a hands-on Data Engineer, you will build ETL, analytics, and data consumption capabilities aligned to a multi-year product roadmap. Working with Product, Architecture, Data, and business partners, you will translate requirements into scalable solutions using Databricks, Py Spark, enterprise standards, and modern engineering practices. You will design, develop, test, and support secure cloud-based data solutions across ingestion, transformation, data quality, lineage, and consumption. You will create reliable Databricks pipelines, write efficient Py Spark code, and apply sound data-modeling practices to solve business problems. You will contribute to engineering excellence through clean code, peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, observability, and disciplined sprint delivery. You will troubleshoot pipeline failures, tune Spark workloads, improve data reliability, and support releases with guidance from senior engineers. You will estimate assigned work, identify performance and cost improvements,



participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, and build POCs to validate technical approaches. You will collaborate on story refinement, implementation planning, production support, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires clear communication, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, analysts, product partners, and business stakeholders while explaining technical decisions and trade-offs.
