In this role, you will be working at the intersection of hardware and software, you will drive open-source initiatives while partnering closely with major SoC and hardware vendors. Your team translates complex silicon capabilities into seamless experiences used by millions of people globally.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Responsibilities

- Manage cross-functional team of engineers.
- Participate in board bring-ups and work with partners to deliver new Chromebook and Googlebook devices.
- Collaborate with a global team of software and hardware engineers on new technology proposals and process improvements.
- Evaluate and help improve code and processes for scalability and maintainability.
- Be prepared to discuss your knowledge and use of AI tools during the hiring process. AI fluency is an expectation in this role.
