Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and maintain APIs and integration services for SAP applications.
- Design and implement RESTful and OData services based on business requirements.
- Develop and enhance integrations between SAP and external/non-SAP applications.
- Work with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems to expose and consume APIs.
- Develop and maintain API interfaces using appropriate SAP integration technologies.
- Troubleshoot API failures, integration issues, authentication problems, and data inconsistencies.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, API documentation, interface mappings, and test cases.
- Monitor API performance and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support API enhancements, version upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow SAP development standards, security guidelines, and integration best practices.

Required Technical Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in SAP API / Integration Development.




- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and OData services.
- Good knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API communication protocols.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) is preferred.
- Understanding of API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, and certificates.
- Experience working with SAP Gateway and OData services.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP and SAP technical architecture.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Good understanding of integration troubleshooting, logging, and error handling.
- Knowledge of SAP API Management is an advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with API Management, security, throttling, policies, and API lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector.
- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
