We are looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize production database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability.

Manage MySQL databases across development, staging, and production.

Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, indexes, and server parameters.

Manage backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability setups.

Handle database security, users, roles, and access controls.

Perform database migrations, upgrades, and schema changes.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Automate DBA tasks using Shell/Python and Percona Toolkit.

Collaborate with developers on database design and query optimization.





5–6 years of hands-on MySQL DBA experience.

Strong knowledge of MySQL, InnoDB, replication, backup & recovery.

Experience with EXPLAIN, indexing, query optimization, and slow query analysis.

Knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting.

Experience with PMM, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.

Understanding of database security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Experience with large-scale/high-QPS production databases.

Positive to Have

Redis, Aerospike, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, Python, and banking/fintech experience.
