We're Hiring: Course Design Expert | Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), Delhi

Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) is building a portfolio of courses and training programs designed to become the benchmark for eyecare education — not just within our organisation, but across the sector, in India and globally.

We're looking for a Course Design Expert to make this happen.

What you'll do:

This role sits within our Talent Management & L&D; team but works across the SCEH group — partnering with Medical Education, Allied Ophthalmic Personnel, Public Health, and clinical/administrative departments. You'll take the deep expertise of senior clinicians and program leads and convert it into structured, world-class courses: explicit objectives, defined competencies, sound pedagogy, and content that holds up against global standards.

The role has two halves:

Architect — partnering with departments to define what a course should achieve and how it should be structured

Developer — working hands-on with internal and external faculty to build, sequence, and refine the actual content

Who we're looking for:

6–10 years of experience in curriculum or course design





Strong background in eyecare hospitals, healthcare NGOs, or non-profit/trust training environments — you understand clinical and support-function content, and the sector we serve

A PhD or postgraduate qualification in instructional design, education, curriculum development, adult learning, or a closely related field

Proven experience converting clinical/technical expertise into structured, learner-centered courses

Comfort working with SMEs who are brilliant at their craft but not trained educators — and the patience to bridge that gap

Solid grounding in competency-based education, outcome-based curriculum design, and adult learning theory
