Role Description The Hardware Engineer will work on-site full time at Jarsh Safety's facility in Secunderābād, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve safety-focused hardware products. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing circuit designs, selecting and validating components, and developing electronics hardware for ventilation, electrical safety, and connected worker systems. The role involves building and testing prototypes, performing hardware debugging, optimizing designs for reliability, safety standards, and manufacturability, and documenting specifications and test results.
The Hardware Engineer will work closely with firmware, mechanical, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and support product certifications and compliance with relevant industrial and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and Hardware integration.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Computer Hardware and embedded hardware platforms.
- Experience with industrial or safety-related products, including design for reliability, rugged environments, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools, and familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Ability to collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, with clear technical communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in hardware design are a plus.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting at both board and system level; prior work in industrial safety or IoT hardware is advantageous.
