About Skipzy

Skipzy is building experience-led commerce for kids’ fashion. We think shopping for children should be easy and personal, and should happen on the family’s own terms. So instead of more scrolling or another trip to the mall, we bring the store experience to parents at home and shape it around their child. Founded by IITD alums with INSEAD + Wharton MBA, we’re a young, rapid-growing team in Bengaluru, focused on making every interaction with parents feel effortless.

The role

As Category Manager, you decide what we offer and how it’s priced, and you’re measured on whether it sells. You’ll work close to the customer and the data, see quickly what parents love and what they don’t, and turn that into better buying and pricing decisions.

What you’ll do
• Plan the range by age, gender, size, season and price point, and spot gaps from what parents book and buy
• Build buy plans and restocking orders with brand partners, and decide what to buy outright and what to take on sale-or-return
• Onboard and manage brands: negotiate margins, terms and return policies,



and run monthly settlements
• Own pricing: compare prices against marketplaces and brand websites, and decide when to mark down or reprice so slow stock keeps moving
• Track category health every week (sell-through, stock age, margin, size availability) and act on what you see
• Work with operations and customer-facing teams so customers see the right products and their feedback shapes what we buy

Who we’re looking for

You might be:
• A graduate of a tier-1 college with 0–2 years of experience, sharp with numbers and keen to own real decisions early, or
• Someone with 1–2 years in category management, buying or merchandising in fashion, ready for a bigger scope

Either way, you:
• Are at home in Google Sheets or Excel and can turn data into a decision
• Negotiate with confidence while keeping partner relationships healthy
• Communicate clearly with brands, the operations team and the founders
