The Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Sector-12, Chandigarh – 160012, invites applications for Project Technical Support-III (01 post), purely temporary and contractual, in the ICMR-funded extramural research project (Intermediate Grant) "Synergistic Novel Anti-Metabolic Intranasal Drug Formulation for Combating Antimicrobial Resistance in Invasive Fungal Infections," led by Principal Investigator Dr Sourabha Kumar Patro, Associate Professor, PGIMER, and funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi (project period 21.09.2026 to 20.09.2027, first year).

Remuneration is ₹28,000/month (consolidated) plus 20% HRA (₹5,600), i.e. ₹33,600/month, and the age limit is below 35 years on the last date of application (relaxation as per ICMR/Government of India norms).

The engagement is initially till 21 September 2027, extendable with the project's extension by ICMR.

Essential qualification (any one):
(1) full-time, on-campus graduation (minimum 3 years)



in Molecular Biology or Biotechnology with 3 years of research experience in the relevant field after graduation; or
(2) full time, on-campus post-graduation in Biotechnology or Molecular Biology;
or
(3) full-time, on-campus 4-year B.Tech in Biotechnology with 3 years of relevant research experience.

Cell culture experience is desirable.
