Role Description This is a full-time, in office Business Development Manager role based in Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with clubs, schools, corporates, and local communities to drive adoption of padel and increase venue usage. The role includes managing the sales pipeline, conducting outreach and presentations, negotiating agreements, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders. The person in this role will collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design promotional campaigns, membership packages, and events that support revenue growth and brand awareness. Daily responsibilities also involve tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and providing feedback to leadership to refine business strategy and improve customer experience.
Qualifications
• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and relationship building.
• Experience in partnerships or account management, preferably within sports,



fitness, hospitality, or leisure industries.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple initiatives and meet targets.
• Comfort working on-site at sports facilities and engaging directly with players, partners, and community groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience launching or scaling new products, services, or venues is highly beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for sports and community-building, and a proactive, self-directed approach to problem-solving.
