Job Title: L3 Cloud Engineer / Cloud SME
Experience: 7-12 Years
Location: Chennai / Bangalore (Other India locations may be considered)
Employment Type: Contract – 12 Months (Extendable)
Shift: Rotational Global Support

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced L3 Cloud Engineer with expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP ecosystems. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, cloud architecture support, deployment guidance, automation, and technical leadership for enterprise cloud environments.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the escalation point for complex L2/L3 cloud incidents.

- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Lead cloud implementation, migration, and transformation projects.

- Troubleshoot complex networking, security, performance, and availability issues.

- Automate operational activities using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Provide technical mentoring to L1/L2 support teams.

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures.

- Implement cloud governance, security, and compliance best practices.

- Collaborate with global delivery and project teams.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Information Security / Data Privacy, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance. Hands-on exposure to DPDPA, IRDAI guidelines, and (security + privacy) -by-design implementation. Strong experience in risk management, policy drafting, audit oversight, and vendor governance. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline. Industry certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA (preferred).
