About the department
Benefit Street Partners is a leading alternative credit investment manager focused exclusively on credit strategies, including direct lending, structured credit, liquid credit, special situations, infrastructure debt and real estate. Managing $92 billion in assets globally, BSP combines specialist expertise with the scale and resources of Franklin Templeton while maintaining operational independence. The team works collaboratively across investment and fund operations functions to deliver high-quality solutions that meet clients’ long-term investment objectives.
How you will add value
Core Responsibilities
- You will oversee Net Asset Value production and review.
- You will monitor fund financial performance and hedging effectiveness.
- You will oversee portfolio and share class return calculations.
- You will manage attribution reporting processes.
- You will oversee fee calculations and expense budgets.
- You will review total expense ratio calculations.
- You will oversee investor and regulatory reporting.
Strategic Responsibilities
- You will oversee fund audits and financial statements.
- You will maintain data integrity across core platforms.
- You will manage liquidity, capital flows and distributions.
Team & Collaboration
- You will work closely with third-party fund administrators.
- You will support fund accounting and investor reporting activities.
What will help you be successful in this role
Experience
- 3 to 5 years in financial services.
- Experience with performance return calculations.
- Understanding of syndicated loans and CLO products.
- Knowledge of open-ended funds is advantageous.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent chartered accountant.
Technical Skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
