Job Description:

We are looking for a Power BI Developer with strong experience in Power BI reporting, data modeling, and database view creation to support data-driven decision making across engineering and business functions. The candidate should be capable of transforming large datasets into meaningful dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions.

Create and maintain SQL views in MariaDB, Azure Databricks and supporting needs

Develop KPIs, measures, and calculations using DAX.

Build and maintain reusable datasets and semantic models.

Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.

Implement and maintain data relationships for reporting solutions.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report quality.

Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service.

Support dashboard performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Create and maintain report documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions on time.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Mandatory:

3–5 years of Power BI development experience.

Strong knowledge of:





Power BI Desktop

Power BI Service

DAX

Power Query

SQL

Experience with:

MariaDB

Azure Databricks

SQL View Creation

Data Validation

Good understanding of:

Data Relationships

Data Modeling

Fact & Dimension Tables

Star Schema Concepts

Experience creating dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Row Level Security (RLS) implementation.

Power BI report publishing and refresh management.

Dashboard performance optimization.

Basic understanding of Delta Tables.

Git / Azure DevOps knowledge.

Power Apps or Power Automate exposure.

Experience with engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or operational data.

Desired Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Good understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.

Robust attention to detail and data quality.

Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in Power BI and SQL-based reporting solutions.
