Position Description

This full-time, benefited position provides strategic leadership and oversight of Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma’s (CCEOK) human resources function. The Director supports CCEOK leaders in employment practices that reflect sound HR principles while advancing the Catholic mission and preserving the religious identity of CCEOK. This role helps foster a workplace culture rooted in Catholic teaching, pastoral care, responsible stewardship, and respect for human dignity.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The Director sets HR strategy, ensures solid execution of HR operations, and works closely with the HR Generalist. The Director builds trusted relationships with leaders and managers and helps develop practical solutions that support program and departmental needs while complying with applicable law, organizational policy, and CCEOK’s Catholic mission and identity.

Ministerial

• As a ministerial representative of CCEOK,



both professional and personal conduct must align with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church
• Pray daily for the needs of the poor through personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration
• Be willing to learn and apply Catholic teaching in your role
• Help foster a shared culture of ministry across program operations and management

HR Strategy & Leadership

• Serve as a strategic advisor and collaborative partner to executive leadership and managers on workforce needs, organizational health, employee relations, workplace culture, and HR-related risks and opportunities
• Develop and implement HR priorities that support CCEOK’s strategic goals, operational needs, and Catholic mission
• Lead workforce and succession planning and provide recommendations regarding organizational structure, staffing needs, position design, and reporting relationships
• Develop, monitor, and analyze workforce data, metrics
