Role Description The Reel Editor will be responsible for editing short-form video content, including reels for social media platforms and promotional campaigns. The role involves close collaboration with directors, content strategists, and designers to refine visual narratives and maintain consistency with project briefs and brand guidelines. The Reel Editor will also optimize content for multiple formats and platforms, manage versioning, and ensure timely delivery of final assets. This is a contract, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

Qualifications




• Strong reel and short-form video editing skills, with proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
• Experience with motion graphics, basic visual effects, and color correction to enhance storytelling and brand impact.
• Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and best practices for short-form video content.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of pacing and rhythm, and ability to align edits with music, audio cues, and brand tone.
• Relevant education or training in film editing, media studies, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial; a strong portfolio of reel work is essential.
