Video Editor — D2C & Performance Marketing (Full time)

About the Role
ZeroCAC is looking for a strategic and highly skilled Video Editor who knows how to transform raw brand and product footage into high-converting Instagram Reels and high-performance video ads.
Performance marketing is our core service. Because of this, we aren't just looking for someone who can splice clips together—we need an editor who fundamentally understands audience hooks, storytelling, viewer attention retention, and purchase intent. You should have direct experience editing for consumer/D2C brands and understand how editing choices directly influence ad performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Creative Editing: Edit Instagram Reels, Meta video ads, product videos, founder-led content, testimonials, and UGC-style creatives.
• Engagement & Narrative: Craft strong opening hooks, clear narratives, and pacing that keeps viewers glued to the screen.
• Creative Testing Variations: Produce multiple variations of hooks, video lengths, messaging angles, and CTAs for performance testing.
• Platform Formatting:



Adapt video assets seamlessly into platform-ready formats (9:16, 4:5, 1:1).
• Collaboration: Partner with content strategists, designers, and performance marketers to turn creative briefs into high-impact final edits.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Review performance insights and feedback to continuously improve subsequent edits.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience (ideally 3–4 years).
• Background: Proven track record working with D2C or consumer brands (agency or brand-side).
• Technical Stack: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, alongside a working knowledge of After Effects.
• Core Skills: Strong color correction, audio cleanup, subtitle timing, and basic motion graphics.
• Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating engaging Instagram Reels, social media videos, and paid ad creatives.
