We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in developing and improving technological solutions, delivering high-quality, tested, and performant software. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet security, maintainability, and performance standards.
The role requires solid knowledge of software development, SDLC, Agile methodologies, code quality, technical documentation, and production deployments, along with the ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical solutions and support junior team members.
• Developing and/or improving technological solutions for new or existing organizational products in line with functional requirements and specifications
• Providing functionally correct, unit tested, deployable, and performant software artefacts
• Working collaboratively with Developers, Architects, QAs and Product Owners
• Ensuring software meets NFRs, especially for Security, Maintainability, and Performance
• Performing systems analysis & design and creating technical documentation (e.g.
Wikis and Technical specifications) as required during the SDLC
• Applying standard programming procedures in line with IB development standards
• Reviewing/creation of user stories and acceptance criteria where applicable
• Assisting with code quality monitoring, reporting and assurance across IB projects.
• Performing developer and supplier peer reviews for quality assurance
• Attending and participating in Scrum ceremonies, elaboration and refinement sessions
• Performing demos for stakeholders distributed globally
• Supporting software releases and deploying code into production environment
• Handovers, support and training of the application support team for new deliverables
• Assuming end-to-end ownership of technical solutions
• Supporting, training and mentoring junior team members.
Knowledge And Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experie
