The work

What you'll actually do

01

What you'll own

• API endpoints and services — real ones, in production, reviewed properly before they go there
• Tests, unit and integration, treated as part of the work rather than a chore after it
• Consent lifecycle and ledger features — notice, grant,

review, withdrawal — under guidance to start with
• Data access and event handlers: PostgreSQL queries and Kafka consumers, which is how you learn what idempotency means
• Code review, both sides of it — reading other people's code carefully is most of how engineers get better in year two

02

What we will teach you

• Distributed-systems fundamentals, from someone who has run them
• How to model data for a system that must stay correct under audit
• How to write a design down before you build it
• What it means to build software where a mistake has consequences outside the company
• A defined path to Senior Software Engineer, and honest feedback on where you stand against it

03

Minimum qualification

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1 year of professional backend experience in Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Java or Python — a robust internship pl
