Roles & Responsibilities:
Be part of a team of experienced generalists who are in charge of creating our systems to the highest engineering standards, utilizing best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
Manage technological debt by applying our re-usable platform approach, and guide technology choices with industry-wide impact by implementing our Open-Source strategy.
In conjunction with Domain architects, Developers, and stakeholders, guide current ideas all the way to production.
Contribute to projects by providing high-level architecture concepts and models, dependency analysis, task prioritization, effort estimates, and resource requests, and assisting in the definition and assertion of non-functional needs.

Essential Qualifications:
Previous experience as a System/EE Architect in Automotive or other mixed-criticality systems
15+ years of skilled experience as a System/Software and EE Architect




Experienced in developing and designing requirements for In Vehicle Networking and communication standards
Expertise in CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet
Leadership skills to contribute to a healthy engineering culture and coach Domain Architects and developers
Proficiency in problem solving, troubleshooting technical issues and supplier management
Ability to deal with conflicts and handle multiple competing priorities in a rapid-paced environment
Extensive familiarity with Software Architecture patterns, such as process and IPC architectures
Thorough knowledge of applicable standards and standard technologies in both SW and HW
Superior architectural diagramming abilities, including UML
Excellent technical research and writing skills, particularly the ability to organize, summarize, and convey material
Knowledge with architectural modeling tools, such as Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect
Knowledge of or experience with requirements engineering and requirements management tool
